The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 304 and Goebel Road at around 5:15 p.m. Responding personnel located a Toyota Camry and a Lincoln MKV in the roadway, both with extensive damage, Clarkstown Police said. Construction Shuts Parts Of Route 17 In Mahwah
There could be some congestion Wednesday around Bergen County. Construction is being done on several local highways. Below are the areas to avoid: Route 17 near Route 4 in Paramus. Left lane closed until 1 p.m. Route 17 N. between East Saddle River Road in Paramus and Lake Street in Ramsey until 3 p.m. Route 17 in both directions near I-287 in Mahwah. The right shoulder will be closed until 3:30 p.m. George Washington Bridge: Eastbound at New Jersey Side/Upper Level Toll Plaza in Fort Lee closes right side until 3:30 p.m.

Toppled Car Carrier Spills Junked Heaps Onto I-95 In Fort Lee
FORT LEE, N.J. -- A car carrier filled with already-junked vehicles tipped in the express lanes of NYC-bound I-95 in Fort Lee, creating a traffic headache as the Wednesday evening rush was about to begin. State Police said the driver sustained minor injuries. There was no immediate word on how long the cleanup would take.

No injuries were reported but commuters had significant delays Friday night after a Penn Station-bound train broke down in a Hudson River tunnel between Manhattan and New Jersey. Approximately 1,200 commuters were affected, New York City's Office of Emergency Management reported. Reported delays of up to 45 minutes continued until 5 o'clock. A team had to assess the damage before the train eventually made its way to Penn Station, according to NYC Fire Wire. Lane Closures Scheduled Near Tappan Zee Bridge For Lane Realignment Work
Southbound/eastbound traffic lanes on the New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287) in South Nyack, just over the Tappan Zee Bridge will be realigned. The work, near Exit 10 (Nyack /South Nyack/Route 9W) will occur during the overnight of Wednesday, April 12. The lanes will be shifted approximately 30 feet south, allowing Tappan Zee Constructors to perform drainage work in the area and prepare for future operations.
