RAMSEY, N.J. -- Tisdale Elementary School in Ramsey was identified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a High Performing Rewards School for the 2014-2015 school year.
Only 57 schools in the state have earned this distinction.
To be designated such an honor schools had to maintain a minimum proficiency rate of approximately 90 percent for all students and have that proficiency rate in the top 10 percent across the state.
The New Jersey Department of Education will be presenting Tisdale with a Title I School Rewards Grant in the amount of $10,000 at the NJAFPA Spring Conference in June.
