RAMSEY, N.J. – Sinks and water fountains at four Ramsey schools tested above state-permitted lead levels, NorthJersey.com reports.

In all, eight elevated samples were found at Hubbard Elementary School, five at Tisdale Elementary School, one at Smith Middle School, one at Ramsey High School and results are still pending for Dater Elementary School, according to the report.

The affected sources have been decommissioned, and the district is developing a remediation plan, the story says.
