Mahwah Holding Annual Fishing Contest At Silver Creek Pond

MAHWAH, N.J. -- Mahwah Recreation’s 27th annual fishing contest will be held on Saturday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at Silver Creek Pond, located at the intersection of Airmont Avenue and Airmount Road.

The catch-and-release contest is open to residents age 5 through 13.

Prizes will be awarded to contestants based on largest fish caught, most fish caught and first fish caught in each of four age groups.

Bait will be provided.

No pre-registration is necessary.
