RAMSEY, N.J. — An old-fashion, Italian supermarket will make its New Jersey debut at Ramsey's former Pathmark location on Route 17 sometime this fall, borough officials said.
Uncle Giuseppe's has five locations peppered across Long Island and offers groceries, homemade pastas and sauces, Italian cold cuts, international cheeses, baked goods, dozens of imported specialties and sushi.
The store's candy department is complete with chocolate fountains for fruit, pretzels and cookie-dipping, gourmet candies, cheesecake-filled strawberries and — of course — creamy gelato.
