ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A serious motor-vehicle crash caused gridlock on a stretch of southbound I-87 near the Garden State Parkway on Sunday afternoon.

The crash, reported just before 2 p.m., occurred at Exit 14 (Route 59/Spring Valley).
