The competition is for boys and girls, ages 7 to 12. The age divisions are 7 and 8, 9 and 10, and 11 and 12. Participants should bring their own bats and helmets.
Each competitor will get 10 machine-pitched balls. All fair balls will be worth one point, a distant hit on a fly gets two points and a home run earns five. The top three hitters in each division will receive awards and advance to the sectional finals.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., at Ramsey's Finch Park.
