Joeluis A. Ramirez, 25, was arrested without incident Wednesday at his home, near Don Bosco Prep, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

“A small amount of THC hash oil and a vaporizer pen containing THC hash oil was seized,” the prosecutor said.

Grewal said his office got a tip in May that Ramirez was dealing in the chemical compound in marijuana that gets users high.

During the ensuing investigation, he “distributed several vaporizer cartridges containing THC hash-oil to a detective from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office acting in an undercover capacity” in Mahwah, the prosecutor said.

He was released pending a Dec. 20 first appearance on drug charges in Central Judicial Processing in Hackensack.

Grewal thanked Mahwah and Upper Saddle River police for their roles in the investigation and arrest.
