The arrest came about after an investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Daphekar Jourdain, removed $65.07 worth of items without paying from the Stony Point ShopRite, police report.
Jourdain was taken into custody on Aug. 4, according to officials.
She has been charged with petty larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police report.
After processing, the defendant was released on an appearance ticket returnable Tuesday, Sept. 20, according to officials.
