RAMSEY, N.J. -- Ramsey police on Saturday caught a fugitive wanted out of upstate New York on child endangerment and abandonment charges.
Antonio Kelly, 31, was being held without bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with being a fugitive from justice, pending extradition to Peekskill.
Kelly was out on parole when he first ran from New York State Police in Middletown and then from local police in Stony Point just before noon Friday.
Stony Point officers and colleagues from the Rockland County Sheriff's Office flooded the area of South Liberty Drive after Kelly bolted from a business there.
