Sean Cormack, 45, got into an argument with the 52-year-old Midland Park coach on Sunday, Sept. 10, before head-butting him and then hitting the boy when the youngster and others tried to break up the fight at Berdan Grove Park, Sgt. Brian Metzler said Monday.

The Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps took the boy to Hackensack University Medical Center because of dizziness, Metzler said.

Cormack, who was charged with two counts of simple assault, was taken to the Valley Hospital, the sergeant said.

A source said Cormack sustained broken ribs.
