The private bus was empty when it hit a guardrail ramp coming off Terrace Avenue onto eastbound Route 46, Lt. Michael Colaneri Jr. told Daily Voice.

It wasn't immediately clear where the bus -- owned by a Bogota company -- was headed, but it wasn't to or from Hasbrouck Heights, Colaneri said.

Following the crash, 27-year-old Jasmine Miller of Lodi "started wandering off," the lieutenant said. "She was in the right lane of traffic just east of the ramp when she got clipped."

Miller was placed under arrest and taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment, he said.
