TOTOWA, N.J. – Authorities on Wednesday released an image of a small, white SUV that they said struck and killed a 69-year-old Paterson woman in Totowa early Monday evening.

Grace Strazza of Paterson was crossing Union Avenue in front of the local 5 & 10 store around 5:15 p.m. when she was struck by what might have been a Nissan Murano, authorities said.

The vehicle kept going, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Totowa Police Chief Robert Coyle said in a joint announcement.

Strazza was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, where she was pronounced dead at 6:03 p.m.

"Surveillance video at the scene captured images of the suspect vehicle as it left the scene," the official announcement says.
