Just after 8 a.m. Monday -- following two similar stops less than a half-hour earlier -- Port Authority police officers pulled over a maroon sedan that rolled through an E-ZPass lane, triggering the "Toll Unpaid" sign.

The bike didn't have a transponder, and the rider, 36-year-old Aaron E. Okon of Hyattsville, MD, didn't have a driver's license, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

What's more, he said, "the license plate on the front did not match the plate on the rear of the vehicle."

The rear plate was bogus, as well -- and the motorcycle was neither insured nor registered, Pentangelo said.

Okon, in turned out, also had three outstanding warrants out of Hamilton Township, he said.

Records show Okon was arrested in December 2008 in Prince George's County, MD on charges that included driving with a suspended license.

Port Authority police charged him Monday with theft of services, tampering with public records, toll evasion, bail jumping and having fictitious license plates and driving both an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
