MAHWAH, N.J. -- Mahwah police's youngest member recently got a new set of wheels, courtesy of All American Ford in Paramus.
Having completed training, Remco is tooling around with his partner, Officer Robert Rapp, in an upgraded 2010 Ford Explorer with a special cage and temperature sensors.
"All American Ford has always been good to law enforcement," Police Chief James Batelli told Daily Voice on Thursday. "This is a huge upgrade from the Crown Vic."
Remco, a Belgian Malinoisa, is trained in drug detection and tracking. He was donated, as well -- from the Mahwah Municipal Alliance.
