Joshua Elkins, 32, had sex with the girl in Mahwah and in a Paramus hotel room, authorities said when detectives had him arrested in his Fort Wayne hometown in January 2013.

He was extradited two months later and was indicted by a grand jury in Hackensack several weeks ago.

Elkins drove the 10 hours to New Jersey after meeting the girl in a Russian roulette-styled chat room that allows users to spin through various images of others, authorities said following his arrest.

A classmate reported the liaisons to Mahwah school officials, they said.

The 14-count indictment charged Elkins with exchanging oral sex with the girl, who is now 19, among other illegal acts (SEE: Indictment: Indiana Man Threatened Girl, 15, After Sex In Mahwah, Paramus).

NorthJersey.com reports that he ended up pleading guilty Monday to two counts of sexual assault and one of child endangerment in exchange for an eight-year prison term.

He must serve six years and eight months of that term before being eligible for parole, under New Jersey's No Early Release Act. He also will be subjected to lifetime parole and Megan's Law registration.

Elkins remained held on $200,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, records show.
