Michele Butler, 46, of Glen Rock, also had no proof of insurance, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.

Surveillance video showed the car being driven carelessly before going onto the sidewalk and into the Prospect Street parking lot Friday night, Ackermann said.

Butler, who sustained minor injuries, was taken to The Valley Hospital, where blood samples were drawn for testing at the State Police laboratory, the chief said.

Besides criminal charges, she received summonses for driving with a suspended

license, careless driving, driving on a sidewalk, failing to keep right, failure to signal and not having proof of insurance, he said.

She remained free pending a court hearing.
