MAHWAH, N.J. -- Paul C. Balch Jr., of Mahwah, died on Feb. 23. He was 93.
Balch was born in Boston, Mass. and lived in Glen Rock for 52 years before moving to Mahwah 10 years ago. He was a Mechanical Engineer at Bendix for 20 years and then an Instrumentation Engineer for Stone and Webster Engineering Corp. in New York City. After his retirement, he was employed with Arthur Groom & Co. Jewelers in Ridgewood for 19 years.
Balch is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor, his son, Richard and his wife, Ruthanne, and his son, David and his wife, Kathy. Also surviving are his grandchildren – Steven, Kimberly, Katie, Brittany, Kelsey, and Hannah.
