RAMSEY, N.J. -- Ramsey resident Margaret "Bonny" Yankauer died Friday, Jan. 15. She was 80.
Born in New York City, Yankauer attended Bronx High School of Science and Smith College.
She was an expert collector and purveyor of fine vintage costume jewelry, such as Trifari, Haskel, and Hollycraft. She was a frequent exhibiter at the Triple Pier antique show in Manhattan and was sought out by a wide range of domestic and international buyers from Europe and Asia.
Yankauer is survived by her son Jeff Yankauer and his partner Elaina Caola; son Stephen Yankauer; daughter-in-law Rachel Schnoll; grandchildren Sarah, Theodore and Benjamin Yankauer; and Dr. Jack Block, her partner and dear friend.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Theodore Yankauer III, and her parents, Eva (Slifka) and Leonard Berger.
