Born in Paterson, she lived in Wyckoff and more recently Mahwah, and she wintered in Boynton Beach, Fla. She was a graduate of Eastern Academy and a member of the Christian Reformed Church of Midland Park. Before retirement, she served as Branch Manager and Vice President of the Bank of America (Citizens Bank) in Midland Park.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Abma; children and step-children, William “Jack” Miller and his wife Fiona, Gwenn and her husband Scott Kearns and Lori and her husband Scott Lansey, Gloria and her husband Randy Van Dragt, Patricia and her husband Bryan Van Dragt and Debra and her husband Rev. John Algera; sister, Grace DeBoer; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jonathan Van Dragt; and her great-granddaughter, Kayla Szambelak.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Christian Health Care Center, 301 Sicomac Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
