RAMSEY, N.J. -- Ramsey resident Elaine (Edwards) Wraga died on Tuesday, Dec. 29. She was 63.
She grew up in Wyckoff, N.J. and graduated from Ramapo High School.
Wraga received several degrees from the Berkeley College of Business and worked for many years in legal support at the Pan Am Building in Manhattan and BMW in Montvale.
After that, she devoted her time to her art and was an accomplished painter in both watercolor and oils. Wraga also studied at the National Academy of Design, the Wyckoff Art Gallery and the Art Students League in New York City. She also received a degree in interior design.
Wraga loved to travel and visited London, Paris, Australia, Hawaii, Maine and Florida, among others.
Wraga is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joseph Wraga; daughter Christine (Wraga) DeGennaro; brothers Glen and John Edwards; and son-in-law Steven DeGennaro.
Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3, at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., in Wyckoff.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Redeemer Cemetery, in Mahwah.
