MAHWAH, N.J. — Mahwah resident Arthur G. Adams died on Monday, May 16. He was 80.
He was born on Sept. 23, 1935, in Englewood, N.J. to Arthur and Josephine Adams.
A native of Englewood, Adams was self-employed as a manufacturing representative and authored many books about the Hudson Valley.
He graduated from Brown University in Rhode Island in 1959.
Adams is survived by his children, Christopher J. Adams, and his wife, Laurie, and Cynthia and her husband, Clay Mann; his grandchildren, Clayton, Cody, and Candice; and three great-grandchildren, Bailey, Brayden.
He also is survived by his sister, Carolyn, and his nephew, Donald and his wife, Erica.
Adams was predeceased by his wife, Daryl.
Scarr Funeral Home, Route 202, in Suffern handled the arrangements.
