Two Injured In Crash Involving Drunk Driver In Sloatsburg, Police Say

This story has been updated. ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two people were injured late Friday night in a two-car crash involving a drunk driver on Route 17 (Orange Turnpike) in Sloatsburg, Ramapo Police said.

Upon arriving at the scene around 10:30 p.m., Ramapo Police rendered aid and begin an investigation.

The driver of one vehicle and an adult passenger of the second vehicle were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for medical treatment.

After treatment, the injured driver, from Middletown, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, police said. The driver's name was not immediately released.
