Three Hospitalized In Chain Reaction, Four-Car Route 202 Crash

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  Three people were transported to area hospitals on Tuesday following a four-car pileup on Route 202 in the Pomona section of Ramapo, according to Ramapo Police.

The chain-reaction crash occurred around 10 a.m. when one driver plowed into the back of another and continued with a total of four cars near the Pacesetter Shopping Plaza, said Sgt. Anthony Giardina. 

Three people were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and one to Nyack Hospital, with non-life threatening injuries, Giardina said. 

Two of the cars towed had severe damage, one had moderate and the one with minimal damage, he added.

The crash is still under investigation.
