The incident occurred when the young teen was looking for makeup in the cosmetics aisle of the store when a man approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately, said Officer Matthew Galli.

When the girl left the area in an attempt to get away from the man, he followed and touched her again, Galli said.

The girl then found her parents and told them what happened. They reported the incident to Target security, Galli said.

The man ran from the store after the teen found her parents, he added.

Anyone who can identify the man pictured or have additional information is asked to contact Det. Kevin Freeman at 845-356-7400.
