This program, which has been implemented by the Drug Enforcement Administration, enables residents to freely and independently dispose of any unwanted or unused medications.

A box will be placed in the lobby of Ramsey Police Department headquarters located at 25 North Central Avenue. Individuals can anonymously place medications in this box, and no identification will be required.

A person may remove the medication from its container prior to placing it in the disposal box, or you may leave the medication in its original container.

The Ramsey Police Department does request that you remove any personal identifying information from the prescription label. Liquid products, such as cough medicine, must remain sealed in their original container. Please ensure the cap is tightly sealed prior to placing in the disposal box.

Syringes and other sharp instruments cannot be accept and not be placed in the disposal box.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
