Ramsey Officials Propose $23.4 Million Budget

RAMSEY, N.J. -- The Ramsey borough council unveiled a proposed $23.4 million budget for 2016 that would include a 1.79 percent tax hike on the average household on Wednesday, Feb. 10, according to NorthJersey.com.

Borough Council President Vanessa Jachzel said the spending plan allows items like road surfacing funds to remain consistent while also allowing the borough to allocate $1.25 million to paying down an $11 million debt, NorthJersey.com reported. 

A public hearing on the proposed spending plan will be held on March 9, NorthJersey.com said.
