Mahwah Begins Two-Phase Water Well Renovation

MAHWAH, N.J. - By next spring, one of Mahwah's most productive water wells will undergo a nearly $100,000 refurbishment project.

The Township Council approved $95,000 for the project at a meeting on Nov. 12, North Jersey.com reported.

The well in question is, Well 19, located off Route 202 near the Ramapo River, hasn’t been upgraded in at least 20 years, the website reported.
