Fort Lee, Bergenfield Named Among Best Cities To Raise Children With Asthma

Two Bergen County municipalities made the Alen Corporation's list of 20 best cities in the U.S. to raise a child with asthma.

The air purifier company ranked Bergenfield (No. 16) and Fort Lee (No. 17) based on an evaluation of air quality, crime rates, state graduation rates and proximity to top-rated hospitals and medical facilities.

The first and most important ranking factor came down to city pollution index due to the variety of asthma patients and their specific needs.
