Huban of Words and Pictures Creative Service in Park Ridge will be honored at a cocktail reception and induction ceremony next month along with 29 other inductees.

These 30 individuals were chosen for their outstanding work, creativity, leadership, and service to the industry and their communities, a press release says.

Huban has been an asset to the agency since he started as a junior art director right out of Pratt 12 years ago, before switching to account work, Words and Pictures President Rhonda Smith said.

“Ryan’s various strengths have contributed greatly to the growth of this agency. Because his training is in design, he is able to help clients visualize their projects from the beginning,” she said.

“Plus, he can think on his feet, so he’s been instrumental in quickly solving client marketing problems, sometimes right on the spot.”

As one of the chosen marketing and communications professionals who represent the “Best of the Best” under the age of 40, Huban, 35, has been involved in account service for many of the agency’s clients, including Sony Electronics, BMW Group Financial Services and KPMG.

He is known for his creativity and his engaging style. In addition to his ad agency work, he is involved in bringing the arts to Hackensack. He is also the founder of Howdy Stranger, an improv comedy group based in Hackensack, and teaches and performs improv regularly.

For the second year in a row, Huban will be a guest speaker for a class in Advertising Principles at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck on May 3.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Words and Pictures is an award-winning advertising agency that has produced campaigns for Sony Electronics, Hanwha, BMW Group Financial Services, KPMG, Wyndham Rewards, Sony Rewards, SANS (Software and Network Solutions), Ramapo College of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and The Valley Hospital.

The agency is known for developing brands and building brand-name recognition.
