“Julia’s selflessness continued after her death. The final gift was her organ donation,” Julia Roman’s sister-in-law, Lucelenia Pimentel, wrote on a GoFundMe page created to raise funds for Julia’s family.

The page had garnered more than $40,000 in donations by Tuesday afternoon.

Roman died of an amniotic fluid embolism at HUMC at Pascack Valley, leaving her husband Victor to care for their 5-year-old-daughter Victoria and newborn twins Isabella and Grace. Roman is also survived by two older children, Dwayne, 19, and Valeria, 26.
