Mahwah's Littlest Kids Say Thanks To Veterans

MAHWAH, N.J. -- The smallest local kids expressed the biggest thank-you in a special drop-in craft program on Veterans Day at the Mahwah Public Library.

Caitlin Siciliano at the Mahwah Public Library led the session where 20 children made thank-you cards for veterans.

"We usually have a program called Friday Crafternoons every Friday where we set out art supplies and kids can make whatever they want," Siciliano explained.

She said the recent idea came from a staff member.

"The kids made some very sweet cards," she said of the artwork that is going to be delivered to the veterans lounge at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
