Mahwah Museum Seeks Participants For Oral History Project

MAHWAH, N.J. -- The Mahwah Museum is asking residents to share their stories for an ongoing oral history collection.New oral history materials are being sought that will document the development of the township since 1976.

The museum has an extensive collection of oral histories done by Ramapo College professors emeritus Mitchell Kahn and Henry Bischoff, who died in 2014. 

People interested in telling their story to future generations can email info@mahwahmuseum.org or call the museum 201-512-0099, and give a brief summary of the story. 

Museum staff will contact people about recording their story. No story will be made public without permission. 

The Mahwah Museum is located at 201 Franklin Turnpike. 

The Museum is currently closed for the summer. 

The Old Station Museum and Caboose, 1871 Old Station Lane, is open for the summer from 2-4 pm on Sundays.
