Forbes: Alpine Hedge Fund Manager Among Richest Women In U.S.

ALPINE, N.J. – An Alpine hedge fund manager is one of the 50 wealthiest self-made women in the United States, according to a list released by Forbes Wednesday.

Victoria Zoellner, 74, chairs the $1.7 billion Englewood Cliffs-based hedge fund Alpine Associates, which she cofounded with her late husband Robert in 1976, according to Forbes.

Zoellner, who is worth a reported $500 million, according to Forbes, is ranked #36 on the list.

Other women who made the list include Oprah Winfrey, Vera Wang, Madonna and Beyonce Knowles.
