Tricia and her 6-year-old son Shayne lived in an apartment in Pearl River, N.Y.

Wednesday “a fire in the downstairs neighbor’s apartment made their home unlivable and they’ve lost most of their belongings,” states a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for the pair.

According to the page, in addition to her job at Kinchley’s, Tricia works a second job at a local doctor’s office.

Donations will help pay for the costs of moving into a new apartment, the page states.

“The funds being raised are to help pay for first month, last month, security, a bed for each of them (including linens), a couch, food and kitchen items, clothing, cleaning for salvageable items, and replacement for those that are not,” it states.

As of Thursday evening, $720 had been raised.

“So glad you and your son are okay,” one donor wrote.
