Mahwah Volunteers Clean Up Hiking Trail

MAHWAH, N.J. -- For Earth Day weekend, the Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization has some trail restoration in mind on Saturday, April 23 -- and you're welcome to join in.

MEVO plans to work on restoring a hiking trail in the Ramapo Reservation, with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. The Conference, a nonprofit formed in 1920, helps keep up a network of 2,100 miles of public trails.

Volunteers will meet up at 10 a.m. at the Ramapo Reservation. RSVP by e-mailing mevovolunteers@mevoearth.org. For more information about the group, visit its website or follow it on Facebook.
