RAMSEY, N.J. -- The Ramsey Farmers' Market will not open as planned on Sunday, at the Main Street Train Station, due to the forecast of severe thunderstorms.
Organizers are working out details for next week now.
Various vendors and farmers at the market accept SNAP benefits for eligible purchases, using the EBT card, or participate in WIC and Senior Certificate programs. Info is also available at the main market booth.
The Ramsey Farmers' Market also encourages paying it forward, so to share with those less fortunate, bring nonperishable foodstuffs for Center For Food Action, a nonprofit food pantry in Mahwah.
