Pre-Thanksgiving Teen Events Planned At Ramsey Public Library

RAMSEY, N.J. -- The Ramsey Free Public Library will host a series of events geared toward teens in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.

  • On Thursday, the library will host a screening of "The Hunger Games: MockingJay Part 1" at 3:30 p.m. The library screening comes just one week before the theatrical release of the fourth and final installment in the Hunger Games movie series. 
  • The Book Talk book club for sixth- and seventh-graders will discuss "Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief" at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19. Two tickets to the Ramsey Theatre will be raffled off. 
  • Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to paint a ceramic figurine at the library at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 23. Refreshments will be served.
