Mahwah EMS Super Stoked To Get Super Soaked

MAHWAH, N.J. -- A celebration is fitting at Mahwah Emergency Medical Services which is about to receive the final of three new Horton ambulances.

Mahwah EMS is super-soaking three of its rigs. There will be a celebration when the final of three new Horton ambulances arrive Oct. 1.

The third ambulance will arrive Saturday, Oct. 1, the occasion marked with a celebration called the "Triple Ambulance Wetdown," whereby a fire engine will "wet down the rigs," a spokesperson said.

The trio were purchased with donations and Township capital. The festivities from 2 to 6 p.m. at Sheraton Crossroads, 1 International Blvd., will include a bouncy house for kids, food, a disc jockey and 50-50 raffle.
