Mahwah Artist Creates Vivid Images For Display

WYCKOFF, N.J. – An award-winning Mahwah artist will display a collection of her paintings at Gallery 691, at the Wyckoff Family YMCA, throughout May.

Pastel artist Stephanie Cook, a Teaneck native, creates realistic, vivid images, according to the Y. Her exhibit, entitled “Awakening – A Collection of Paintings,” will feature still life, floral and landscape paintings.

Cook will be at the gallery on May 3, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for an opening reception. The public is invited to meet her, watch her create a still life painting, and enjoy refreshments.

The Y is located at 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information visit www.wyckoffymca.org.
