RAMSEY, N.J. -- Pancakes, a parade and a day of fun are coming up on Saturday, in celebration of Ramsey Day.
The festivities begin with a pancakes served up 8-11a.m. by the Ramsey Fire Department, Island Avenue and Prospect Street
A parade steps off from Dater School, 35 School St., at 11 a.m.
Ramsey Day is an annual town tradition, held the Saturday following Labor Day. Its original purpose was to promote the nonprofits in town.
It's since become one of the largest family events in town and thousands stop by throughout the course of the day.
The Ramsey Chamber of Commerce, established in 2012, was offered space at the event and now has an entire block of space with 30 tables for borough businesses.
Participating businesses will offer giveaways and discounts to everyone passing through Ramsey Day.
