Jonathan Marcus

Community Advisor

Jonathan Marcus has been a resident of Mahwah for over 17 years. He is a corporate attorney and serves as Assistant General Counsel for one of the "Big 4" certified public accounting firms. Jonathan is Vice Chairman of Mahwah's Environmental Commission and is a member of Mahwah's Planning Board. A graduate of both Ramapo College and Seton Hall University School of Law, he is a governor on Ramapo College's Board of Governors, the Immediate Past President of the Ramapo College Alumni Association Board of Directors, an advisor to the Dean of Ramapo's Salameno School of Humanities and Global Studies, and serves as a mentor to students and various student organizations on campus. Jonathan is an active volunteer with many organizations in the community, including the George Washington and Joyce Kilmer HSO's, the Mahwah Schools Foundation, and is an adult volunteer with the Mahwah Girl Scouts. Jonathan is passionately involved in his church community where he serves in a church leadership position. He and his wife, Tammy, reside in the Fardale section of Mahwah where they are raising their two young daughters who both attend public schools in Mahwah.
