PARAMUS, N.J. -- Could "Mr. Wonderful" of ABC's "Shark Tank" be moving to Bergen County?

O'Leary -- a frequent commentator on "Power Lunch," recorded at CNBC's headquarters in Englewood Cliffs -- recently stopped by the Paramus offices of LPL Financial LLC.

"He brought us breakfast and gave a little pep talk about his future business in the US," financial advisor Derek Michalski of Upper Saddle River told Daily Voice. "He's promoting his 'O'Shares investment funds.

"As you know, he lives in Boston now," Michalski said, "but he told me he's contemplating a move."Perhaps to Bergen County?"

The next morning, the Canadian-born value investor told CNBC viewers that he was dropping out of the race to become the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada -- despite being a front runner most of the way.

O'Leary got his "Mr. Wonderful" moniker from fellow "Shark Tank" star Barbara Corcoran, which made the 62-year-old multi-millionaire's reputation for being mean to contestant entrepreneurs even more colorful.

The hit ABC business reality series was spun off O'Leary's popular "Dragon's Den" program in Canada, where he first began insulting guests who came seeking funding for their companies.

Last month, ABC renewed "Shark Tank" for a ninth season
