WYCKOFF, N.J. – Karen Lauber of Franklin Lakes has long held a passion for helping others.
Then in October, she moved her shop to a new location, where she says, “I can help even more people because more people can find me.”
“Location, location, location,” Lauber excitedly said during an interview at her new shop at the corner of Franklin and Godwin Avenues in Wyckoff.
“Everybody sits at this light, looking up,” she said, pointing out the large windows at vehicles stopped on Franklin Avenue.
Lauber said she has already welcomed many new customers who have found her by walking or driving by.
The Health Stop’s mission is to provide top-quality products at competitive prices, and work with customers personally to assure their purchase reflects their health and wellness needs.
The shop's main theme, she explained, is giving customers "a result-producing alternative to the modern health care industry."
"Our goal is to give people the opportunity to take their health into their own hands," she said.
The Health Stop’s new home has 24-foot ceilings, and plenty of space for all the natural items Lauber has long offered her customers.
The store sells products such as high-quality supplements, natural body care, and grocery items that are organic, non-GMO and gluten and allergen free, as well as meats sourced from free-range, grass-fed and naturally-raised animals.
It also sells items such as crystals, jewelry, essential oils, handmade scarves and musical instruments.
“I hand pick everything in this store with love,” Lauber said.
