MAHWAH, N.J. – A new Mahwah sub shop will donate to local first responders, NJ.com reports.

Firehouse Subs, slated to open at 380 Route 17 South by early September, will round up orders to the nearest dollar, collect change and sell pickle buckets to put money into its fund to purchase equipment for first responders, the story says.

So far, the chain, which also has locations in Totowa and Wayne has donated nearly $300,00 to first responders in New Jersey, the story says.
